Athens Court of Appeal 496/2025 – Prohibition of Relocation of Children, Recognition of Parental Alienation and Psychological Abuse, Disciplinary Action Against Psychologist

We successfully handled a case preventing the relocation of minor children, which posed a risk of parental alienation. The court prohibited relocation without the consent of the other parent and recognized the alienating behavior as tortious, influencing jurisprudence on psychological abuse.

Additionally, it was recognized that psychological reports conducted without the consent of both parents cannot be considered evidence. The psychologist involved was disciplined for non-compliance with professional standards.
